14 shortcut to run access the Control panel

Actually this post is a continuation to my older post, 22 Tips run command that gonna make your day easier. Today I wanna share another shortcut to access properties in the control panel without even going into it. Here is the list, enjoy :)

Add/Remove Programs --> appwiz.cpl
Internet Properties --> inetcpl.cpl
Keyboard Properties --> main.cpl keyboard
Mouse Properties --> main.cpl
Network Properties --> netcpl.cpl
Date/Time Properties --> timedate.cpl
Display Properties --> desk.cpl
FindFast --> findfast.cpl
Fonts Folder -->l fonts
Password Properties --> password.cpl
Printers Folder --> printers

In case some of you forgot how to use it, you just click start and go to run. Then type the shortcut you wanna use.

How to: Manually lock a folder

Do you hated it when somebody take a peep into your personal folder that contain private pictures, confidential files and so in? You wanna lock your folder but you don't have enough money to the appropriate software? Or you afraid to use one of the the freeware that contain trojan? If the answer is yes, then you come at the right place. Ok, lets get this straight to tutorial

(Notes: This trick is only tested on Windows XP)

For example, you want to lock a folder named LOCKME in drive c, which has the path C:\LOCKME

1) create a text file, type
ren LOCKME LOCKME.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}

2)Save the text file as a *.bat file (example:hide.bat)

3)create another text file and type
ren LOCKME.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} LOCKME

4)Save the text file as a *.bat file (example:lock.bat)Save the text file as a *.bat file (example:unhide.bat)

5)Congratulations! you just make yourself a little program :P

**ATTENTION: Save both of the files in the same drive or if will not work**

To lock you folder, all you need to do is double-click the hide.bat. And to access it, you just double-click the unlock.bat

I heard lots of people complaining about the quality of the video they watch in youtube. Yupp, sometimes they suck. Even if we upload a good quality videos, they will end up in a almost crap quality.

How to download songs from Imeem

Imeem.com have been known as one of the best place that stream music online. They have a really huge collection of song too. No wonder it's one of most visited website today.

Have you ever wanted to put those song into your ipod or zune? Well, I think i can help you with that..

but

Agree with that? than let' go..

1) First of all you'll need the URL of the song you want to download. Only single song link will work.It should be in this format

http://user.imeem.com/music/PVeu-9y1/name_of_the_song/

If you wanna download a song in a playlist it won't work.

2) After that go to http://www.file2hd.com . Paste the url in the text box. Check the ' I have read and agree to the Terms of Service ' and then select filter>all files. Ten click get file.

3)Now you'll see a new page and a link. it should be like this

http://imeem.com/name_of_the_song
right click this link and select 'save target as' make sure to rename the file to .flv

4)After you finish download the flv file, then you need to download FLV Extract.

5) Run the program, tick on audio and then drag the file *.flv file onto FLV Extract.

6)You're done. It will automatically convert it to mp3 file in the same folder as your *.flv files

Have you ever use the run command in windows? What? You don't know what is run command? it's on start>run. A nice littte box that you can type command and shortcut on it. Here I wanna share some of the short cut to access various windows configuration by using the run command. Ok, here we go:
